It all began in 1996. I was eleven years old and I'd just maxed out my parents’ dial-up allowance to browse the internet. It was then that I knew - deep down in my toes - that I wanted to work in this exciting online world.
Fuelled by countless cups of coffee and many late nights Googling, Nicola Tweed Web Design and development was born.
I’ve been designing and developing beautiful websites for 7 figure female entrepreneurs from New York to Melbourne and Bali for over 6 years and in that time I’ve seen ALL the frustrations when it comes to creating online spaces.

- My parents are Scottish, I was born in South Africa but lived most of my life in Botswana.
- At the age of 19, With nothing but a small suitcase, and the ability to speak fluent English, I decided to hop on a plane with a one-way ticket to the dazzling city of Paris! Naive? Maybe. Adventurous? Definitely!
- I have two kiddies, Ella and Ryleigh - both blondes, Dad definitely has the stronger gene!
- If I wasn’t a web designer, I’d definitely be a health/fitness instructor.
Once on a camping trip, I was bitten by a monkey!- My super power is figuring sh*t out which is what my clients love the most about me!
- I can’t go to bed without brushing my hair.
- Speaking of hair, I once dyed my hair black only to then spend the next 6 months (and my life savings) trying to get it back to my original hair colour
